A note regarding the Food Center
The Board of the Denton Community Food Center is committed to taking extra precautions to keep our volunteers, clients and food supply safe.
We clean and sanitize surfaces regularly and are asking that everyone wash their hands often and thoroughly. Please stay home if you are feeling ill.
We continue to expect Denton County's population growth (82 people a day move here) and the continuing challenges of the local economy to keep the demand for food assistance high.
The distribution of food is basic to everyone's health and well-being. We are committed to providing emergency amounts of nutritious food to the hunger insecure members of the Northern Denton community who qualify by USDA/TDA standards. See details regarding our “NEW appointment system " below.
We are seeing a larger number of families with school age children requiring food due to the economy and the population increases in Denton County.
Your donation will go far in helping us meeting this increased demand.
Our sincerest thanks for your support!
